If the seller agrees, the agent will provide you with all the necessary paperwork so you can reserve the property – through a promissory agreement of purchase and sale, for example. After the reservation and so you can purchase the property with crypto currency, we will only need you to complete a quick registration in our website, for the onboarding of your identification and other necessary documents. Please note that Luso operates under the supervision of the Portuguese Central Bank (“Banco de Portugal”), and is obliged to monitor transactions and collect certain elements about our customers to ensure our compliance with AML/FT regulations.
When the deed of purchase and sale is scheduled, the purchaser must transfer to Luso the agreed upon cryptocurrency so Luso can transfer the fiat currency to the seller. In the deed document it will be mentioned that the price was paid with crypto currency and that Luso acted as the converter of this currency in fiat.
